Ylähuone (“Upper room”) is a 18 m2 high-quality year-round room for 2 on the top floor of Nestorinranta's main building in the Puumala archipelago in Lintusalo. A beautiful causeway leads through 11 islands.
Note: Bed linen, towels, and final cleaning are not included in the room rate. Guests must provide these themselves or request them separately.
Pets
Pets are allowed as long as you notify us in advance and ensure they do not cause damage or require cleaning for us.
Please note that there may be other dogs in the same yard, and there is a chicken coop and sheep pen in the vicinity.

Saunas
Free wood-fired outdoor sauna at the edge of the yard. Guests must heat it themselves (firewood available in the sauna shed). Turns (approx. 50 min) can be booked in advance or on-site.
The beach sauna (900 m away) with an outdoor hot tub is available for an additional fee. It can be booked as an extra service.
Dining Services
Breakfast from May 1 to September 30 must be booked in advance and is served in the Navettasali, which is in the same building as Ylähuone.
Dinner from May 1 to September 30 must be booked in advance and is served in the Navettasali.

Grilling
There are 2 grill shelters, one at the back of the yard and one on the beach 900 m away. There is also a campfire site on the beach. Firewood is available on-site.

In the forest on the way to the beach, there are 4 themed nature trails, and you can also find the Forest Elf's hut in the forest.

In the kitchenette of the room, there are dishes for organic waste, mixed waste, and a third waste type
In the yard waste point, there are composters for organic waste and bins for paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, returnable bottles and cans, glass, mixed waste, and hazardous waste (batteries, etc.).
Ylähuone is located on the upper floor of the former stone barn
The main building of Nestorinranta, where Ylähuone is located on the second floor, is a former natural stone barn that was completely rebuilt inside in 2014.
